How do I book a character?

Booking your character is easy!1. Explore our characters and experiences Visit our Character Gallery to choose the character(s) you’re interested in and review our available Character Visit options.2. Submit an Event Inquiry Form Tell us your event date, time, location, character choice and a few details about your celebration.3. We’ll check availability We’ll review your request and confirm performer availability. If your first choice isn’t available, we may suggest other options.4. Reserve your event Once availability is confirmed, you’ll receive the information needed to complete your booking and pay the required deposit.5. You’re booked! After your reservation is complete, you’ll receive your event confirmation and information about what happens next.Please note: Submitting an inquiry form does not reserve your date. Your event is confirmed only after availability has been verified and the required booking steps have been completed.

Why don't you offer telephone support for new inquiries?

To keep communication organized and ensure important event details aren't missed, all new inquiries and general questions are handled through our online forms and email.Once your event is confirmed, you'll receive direct contact information for booking-related assistance, as well as direct contact information for your assigned performer before your event.Need to speak with someone? We understand that sometimes a conversation is easier. A telephone consultation may be scheduled upon request.

Question 3

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 3 months in advance, especially for weekends, holidays, and popular characters. Availability is based on our performers’ schedules, so the earlier you inquire, the better your chances of securing your preferred character, date, and time.Last-minute bookings: We accept bookings based on availability through Monday for the upcoming weekend. After Monday, we stop accepting new bookings for that weekend so our performers have adequate time to prepare.Best bet: Have a special date in mind? Don’t wait! You’re welcome to inquire more than 3 months in advance.

How can I check if a character is available?

Submit our Event Inquiry Form with your preferred character, event date, time, and location. We’ll check performer availability and let you know whether your requested character is available.There is no commitment to inquire. Your date and time are not reserved until your booking is confirmed and the required deposit has been received.If your first choice isn’t available, we may be able to suggest another performer, character, or time for your event.

When is my booking officially confirmed?

Your event is officially confirmed once your deposit has been received and you receive a confirmation email from Cinderella Company with your event details.Submitting an inquiry or checking availability does not reserve your date or time.

Question 6

Can I book more than one character?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! You may book as many characters as you’d like, subject to performer availability. Multiple characters can be a great option for larger parties, corporate events, festivals, and special celebrations.

Do you accept last-minute bookings?

Accepted Answer

Occasionally, but last-minute availability is limited. We prefer to give our performers adequate time to prepare their costumes, wigs, supplies, and character performance before an event.In some cases, a performer may already be appearing as your requested character that day and be available to accept an additional event. Last-minute requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are never guaranteed.

What happens after I submit an inquiry?

We’ll review your event details and check availability with the appropriate performer(s). Once we get confirmation from our performer, we’ll contact you with availability and the next steps for booking via email. If your requested character, time, or performer isn’t available, we may offer alternative options.Your event is not reserved until your deposit has been received and your booking is confirmed.

Question 9

How much does a Character Visit cost?

Character Visits start at $250 for one hour.Additional time may be added in 30-minute increments for $40, subject to performer availability.Travel and other applicable fees are calculated separately.

Is a deposit required?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A deposit is required to reserve your performer, date and time. The deposit amount will be shown during the booking process.Your reservation is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received and you have received your confirmation email.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, Zelle, Venmo and PayPal.Checks may be accepted with prior approval and arrangement.

Are there any additional fees?

Travel fees may apply when a performer travels outside their home city or local service area. Any applicable travel charge information will be provided before you complete your booking.Additional charges may also apply for extended time, custom requests, specialty performances or other services outside the standard Character Visit.

What is included in a 1-hour Character Visit?

Every Character Visit is customized around the character you select.Princess & Fairytale Visits may include a grand character entrance, personalized meet & greet, interactive storytelling, themed games, live character singing, music and movement, a royal coronation or birthday ceremony, Birthday Song Serenade, personalized keepsake, photo opportunities and a magical farewell.Superhero & Action Visits may include a grand hero entrance, personalized meet & greet, Hero's Oath, themed games, obstacle course, interactive music and movement, Birthday Hero Recognition, Birthday Song Serenade, personalized keepsake, photo opportunities and a heroic farewell.Fairies, mermaids, unicorns and other specialty characters offer their own themed versions of our activities. Activities vary by character so the experience feels appropriate to the character you've invited.

Do all characters offer the same activities?

No. and that's part of the fun!Activities are customized to complement the character and theme. A princess experience may include a coronation and singing, while a superhero might lead a Hero's Oath and obstacle course. Your character's activities will be appropriate to the experience you've selected.

Will my performer look exactly like the person pictured?

Not necessarily. Our gallery represents the character, costume and overall presentation you can expect, but individual performers may vary.If you have a favorite performer pictured on our website, you're welcome to request them when submitting your inquiry. Specific performer requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Do you perform at restaurants or public venues?

Yes, when the event has a private or reserved event space suitable for character entertainment.We generally do not perform character visits in the open dining area of casual restaurants or entertainment venues. Private banquet rooms, reserved party rooms and dedicated event spaces may be approved.

Do you offer holiday characters?

Yes! Our seasonal entertainment includes a variety of holiday characters and specialty performers. Availability varies throughout the season, so early booking is strongly recommended.

What types of events do you attend?

Cinderella Company entertainment isn't just for birthday parties!Our characters may be available for private celebrations, character Meet & Greets, corporate events, community celebrations, fairs, festivals, holiday events, grand openings and other special occasions.Depending on the event, characters may provide structured entertainment, photo opportunities, roaming interaction or Meet & Greets.For large-scale events, contact us for a customized entertainment plan.

Question 19

Are there special requirements for outdoor events?

Yes. Outdoor events must provide adequate shade, a clean and suitable performance area, and a clean, dry place for the performer to sit when needed.For performer comfort and safety, standard outdoor Character Visits should generally be held between 60°F and 80°F. Masked, heavily layered, or full-body characters have stricter temperature limitations and generally cannot perform outdoors above 70°F. Please also ensure the performance area and pathway are free from mud, standing water, excessive dirt, pine needles, or other debris that could damage specialty costumes. If conditions are unsuitable, we may require the performance to be moved to an appropriate indoor, covered, or shaded location.

Why are artistry activities no longer included with Character Visits?

After many years of offering face painting, balloon twisting and other artistry activities during our Character Visits, we've decided to return the focus to what makes character entertainment truly special — the character experience itself.Our visits now focus on interactive storytelling, themed games, music and movement, singing when appropriate, special birthday ceremonies, keepsakes, photos and meaningful interaction with your character.Artistry activities require significant setup, supplies and cleanup and can take up a large portion of the character's visit. By offering character-focused entertainment instead, our performers can spend more of their time engaging with the children and bringing the character to life.Select artistry services are planned to return in 2027 as separate entertainment options, allowing families to add them when desired without taking time away from their Character Visit.

Do you offer face painting, balloon twisting or glitter tattoos?

These services are not currently included in our Character Visits.We plan to introduce select artistry services as separate entertainment options in 2027.

Question 22

How many children can you entertain?

Accepted Answer

One performer can typically accommodate up to 25 participating children.For groups larger than 25, additional characters or event assistants may be required. Larger groups are subject to performer approval so we can make sure the experience remains organized, safe and enjoyable. For example, two performers can generally accommodate up to 50 participating children.

What is a Personalized Character Video?

A Personalized Character Video is a custom-recorded message created especially for your recipient by one of our characters. Videos can celebrate birthdays, holidays, accomplishments, encouragement, announcements and other special occasions.

Can I hire multiple characters?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. You may hire multiple characters for private parties, large events and Meet & Greets, subject to performer availability. For larger crowds, multiple performers can also help us accommodate more guests.

Question 25

What happens in extreme heat, rain or other bad weather?

Accepted Answer

Please monitor the forecast leading up to your event and have an indoor or covered backup location whenever possible.If weather conditions make the appearance unsafe or unsuitable for the performer or costume, the visit may need to be moved indoors or rescheduled.Weather-related rescheduling is subject to performer availability.

Do you perform at parks and outdoor venues?

Yes, with some limitations.Because many of our elaborate gowns and specialty costumes can be easily damaged by mud, pine needles, wet grass and other outdoor debris, full-gown princess appearances are not available at traditional park settings unless appropriate accommodations can be provided.For outdoor venues, there must be a clean, accessible route from the performer's vehicle to the event area or a private, appropriate changing area where the performer can safely put on the full skirt or costume.Other characters may be available for parks depending on the venue and weather conditions.
